Line Dancing lessons
Well, what’s the point of having a fully dedicated country music venue if you don’t know any of the dance moves? With that in mind, we’ve convinced Sarah to slip those cowboy boots back on and teach you all some basic steps.
Sarah spent years as a child learning this iconic dance style, progressing in her teens to becoming a dance teacher, even taking part herself in regular line dancing competitions, including reaching the finals of the British Championships held at Wembley Arena!
As usual, like with many people, life typically takes over as you get older, with work commitments and family, and those activities you may have enjoyed once upon a time get shelved.
However, as the owner of the only fully dedicated country music and western lifestyle emporium in Essex, Sarah’s reached up onto that shelf and dusted off those dancing boots! She has no excuses really!
Sarah’s spent the last couple of months bringing herself back up to speed, so that she can offer you a dance class like no other locally.
We initially plan on running two classes per week with around 15 students per class initially, until we ALL find our feet!
Classes are mixed male and female of ages 16+ and tailored for complete beginners through to improver students.
The lessons are based around learning, but more importantly about enjoying the music and the socialising aspect of group activities. Basically you’ll be here to have a good time!
Classes will last an hour, although we would love for you to hang back for coffee or a cake afterwards.
Along with this, we will soon have our Friday night socials up and running more regularly, with this being the night to show off those new moves!
Plus, we’ll even have our own clothing and boot department soon, so we can help kit you all out in some amazing western apparel.
Classes are booked in term blocks. A term being six weeks, whereby we plan to teach at least one new dance every week that will include both classic, modern country and some contemporary music.
However for this initial start up period, the next few weeks will be on a pay as you go basis with classes available to pre-book online below.
Classes are very limited at present so we recommend booking in to avoid disappointment.
